TikTok creator guide
How to add a link to your TikTok bio
A clickable website link on your TikTok profile can lead people to your work, other channels, and collaboration details. First check whether your account can add one, then choose a destination that helps visitors find what they came for.
Who can add a website link?
TikTok's help center says you can add a website link if you have at least 1,000 followers or a Registered Business Account. Availability and the exact controls may vary by account and region. Linking an Instagram, YouTube, or Lemon8 account is a separate feature.
Check TikTok's current instructionsAdd your website link in the TikTok app
- Open TikTok and tap Profile.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Next to Links, tap Add.
- Follow the prompts to add your website URL, then open your public profile and test the link.
If the website option is missing, check your account's eligibility and whether the feature is available in your region. Adding a URL as plain bio text does not make it the same as a clickable website link.
What should the link point to?
Use a direct destination when you have one clear action, such as a current launch or a specific video. Use a link in bio page when visitors may want several things: your latest work, other channels, a shop, and a way for brands to reach you.
Put the most timely link near the top and name each destination plainly. If you want brand inquiries, make your creator media kit and contact route easy to find. Review the page on a phone after every major campaign change.
