4. Google User Data (Gmail)

When you connect a Gmail account, Janney AI accesses it through our email infrastructure provider, Nylas, with the permissions you grant on Google's consent screen. We use them only to run the outreach features you use in Janney AI:

• Conversations Janney AI starts: We read the replies in conversations started from Janney AI, create Gmail drafts of replies, send the emails you approve (or that you allow Janney AI to send on your behalf), and apply Janney AI labels to these conversations.
• What we store: For emails in a Janney AI conversation, or exchanged with a creator you contacted through Janney AI, we store the message content. For any other email in the mailbox we store only the sender, recipients, date, subject and message identifiers, never the body.
• AI processing: The content of messages in Janney AI conversations is processed by AI model providers (Google Gemini and DeepSeek) solely to draft and check replies for you.
• No model training: Janney AI does not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
• No selling or advertising: We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, and no one at Janney AI reads it except with your permission, for security or abuse investigations, or when the law requires it.
• Disconnecting and deletion: You can disconnect Gmail in Janney AI at any time, which revokes our access. To have the stored email data deleted, contact us through our Contact Us page.

Janney AI's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with small amounts of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.
