    Fake Follower Checker

Estimate any Instagram, TikTok or YouTube creator's audience authenticity from public signals — before you pay for a collaboration.

The fastest fake-follower signals: a low engagement rate for the follower size, a following count close to the follower count, few real comments, and big follower spikes. Enter the numbers from a creator's profile below for an instant authenticity read.

    What the signals mean

    • Engagement rate — the strongest signal. Bought or bot followers inflate the follower count but don't like or comment, so a rate far below the norm for the creator's size is the #1 red flag.
    • Following ratio — established creators are followed by far more people than they follow. A following count near or above the follower count suggests follow/unfollow growth or a bought audience.
    • Comment activity — real audiences leave real comments. Lots of likes with almost no comments (or only emoji spam) can signal engagement pods or fake activity.
    • Posting history — a huge following on very few posts, or sudden follower spikes, often means followers were purchased rather than earned.

Manually vetting one creator is fine — vetting 200 isn't. Janney AI scores authenticity and engagement on every creator in its 180M+ database and filters out fake-heavy and inactive accounts, so the creators you see are real, active and contactable.
